Flash AutoVent

Install or update the firmware on your SUNLU AMS heater AutoVent controller. The board is a Seeed XIAO RP2040, so there's no installer to run — download the file for your vent design and drag it onto the board. Takes about a minute and works in any browser.

1. Download the firmwarev2.0.0
Pick the build that matches the vent you printed. v1 and v2 drive the vent from opposite sides, so the servo travels in opposite directions — the wrong build opens the vent when it should close it.
2. Install it
  1. Unplug the XIAO RP2040 from USB.
  2. Hold the BOOT button on the board while you plug in the USB-C cable, then release it.
  3. A USB drive named RPI-RP2 appears on your computer.
  4. Drag the .uf2 file you downloaded onto that drive. The board reboots on its own when the copy finishes and the drive disappears.
3. After installing
  • Wait for the LED to go solid after the 10-second startup calibration.
  • First time setting it up? With the dryer off, hold the button for 6–7 seconds to start Learning Mode and follow the LED prompts (about 45 seconds). The learned settings save automatically.
  • Full setup, button controls and troubleshooting are in the User Guide.

Using a XIAO SAMD21 instead? Build from source with the Arduino IDE — see the AutoVent repo on GitHub. PCBs and kits are available from 3dcreator.shop.
